The run west

The Dry Tortugas are far enough from Key West that the reefs, wrecks and ledges see very little fishing. On the longer trips you anchor up out there and fish around the clock.

  1. Stock Island

Load up at the Perry Marina and head west aboard the Lauren Jeanne.

  2. The Marquesas

The uninhabited atoll on the way out, with fishing grounds of its own.

  3. The Dry Tortugas

    70 miles west

Fort Jefferson, and reefs, wrecks and deep ledges that see very little pressure. Anchor up and live aboard.

  4. Pulley Ridge

The deep reef beyond the Tortugas, for a long trip when the wind is under 10 knots.

What's biting

  • On the troll

    Wahoo

Big and fast, trolled up in the blue water.

  • Reefs with little pressure

  • A 50' catamaran

The Lauren Jeanne runs at 16 knots, and her 22-foot beam gives six anglers room and a stable deck that helps keep seasickness away.

  • Live aboard

Air conditioning, a full galley, bunks, a head and a hot shower. When the weather allows, the captain cooks breakfast and dinner.

  • Licenses, bait and reels

Every trip includes your fishing licenses, bait, ice and the boat's electric reels for deep dropping. On the day and overnight trips, food, drinks and all the tackle are included too.

The Dry Tortugas fishing experts

Two Fish Charters runs customized day, overnight and multi-day fishing trips from Stock Island to the Dry Tortugas, the Marquesas Keys and Pulley Ridge: the finest bottom and big game fishing the Florida Keys have to offer, in some of the most pristine water in the continental US. The Tortugas are a national park 70 miles west of Key West, home to Fort Jefferson, and the reefs, wrecks and deep ledges around them see very little fishing pressure.

Giant grouper and snapper are our specialty. A typical trip brings black, red, gag, yellowedge, scamp and strawberry grouper, and yellowtail, red, mutton, mangrove and cubera snapper, with kingfish, cobia and deep-water snowy grouper and golden tilefish. Wahoo, tuna, dolphin and sailfish come on the troll. Bottom, reef, wreck or deep drop fishing, or offshore trolling: we set each trip up around the weather, the season, your group's experience and what you want to catch.

Captain Yuri Vakselis runs the trips aboard the Lauren Jeanne, a 50-foot custom catamaran with a 22-foot beam, all the latest fish-finding and navigation electronics, a bait freezer, big fish boxes and an ice maker.
